TRADITIONAL KARATE

Our style is Okinawa Kenpo. We are a traditional dojo. We also teach Kobudo (Okinawa weapons way). Our style has deep roots in the origins of what is known today as "karate".

This is because Okinawa is the birthplace of Karate. Our instruction has practical applications.

MUAY THAI FITNESS

Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand, and one of the most effective stand up fighting systems in the world. Muay Thai is known as “The Art of 8 Limbs.” This program was created by the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association. "Muay Thai Fitness" is a high impact program in which you will learn Muay Thai skills as you get in shape. 

TAI CHI

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese martial art' Tai chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints. Tai Chi has many other health benefits. Health practitioner recommended for their patients. It is good for all ages. Tai Chi has been called, "meditation in motion". Tai Chi will help you with your balance, coordination, strength, and mind focus. We teach Yang style.

 

 

FEMALE SELF-DEFENSE

We have developed a simple course that will teach the students basic moves to block, parry, evade and counter an attacker. We offer this course at various times during the year. You do not have to wait for us to offer the course. Anyone can ask for the course. Groups of four or more create a more dynamic atmosphere. Come to our Dojo and ask about it.

ZUMBA FITNESS

Zumba is a dance fitness program created by a Colombian dancer and choreographer. Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Come and join us in any of our classes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

FIRST AID CLASSES
First aid is the assistance given to any person suffering a sudden injury or illness. Our Dojo schedules basic first aid class during the year for those who are interested.
